The morning was filled with excitement as Petra and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. Laughter and happy tears filled the air as they shared cherished memories and prepared to witness Petra marry her best friend. John, meanwhile, awaited his bride with a mix of nerves and anticipation. Here’s a look back at their Maidstone Club wedding.

The ceremony took place at a stone church, its doorway framed in white flowers. Petra and John exchanged vows surrounded by their families and closest friends, then stepped out into the spring sunshine as newlyweds. Before the reception, they slipped away for portraits among the gardens and wisteria, and with a vintage convertible on the tree-lined lanes of East Hampton.

Following the ceremony, guests moved to the elegantly decorated reception hall at Maidstone Club. Soft candlelight and floral arrangements adorned the tables, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A delectable dinner was served, accompanied by heartfelt speeches and toasts celebrating the newlyweds.

If you’re planning a Maidstone Club wedding, a few tips: late spring in East Hampton is green and lush, and the lawns and hedges around the club make a beautiful setting for family and bridal party photos. If a vintage car is part of your day, plan a few minutes for portraits with it on the tree-lined lanes nearby. And stay out a little after sunset, because when the sky turns deep blue over the club it makes for the most memorable portrait of the night.
