Planning your own Ashford Estate wedding? A few things I’d suggest: one of the getting-ready rooms has a window seat with soft daylight, which makes a beautiful spot to photograph your gown and veil before you put them on. The ceremony room with its white beamed ceiling feels bright and airy in the afternoon, which suits a September date like Julia and Danny’s. In the ballroom, colored lighting makes the tall windows and chandelier stand out once it’s dark, so pick a shade that goes with your palette. And if you’re giving favors, lining them up on a round table in the hallway turns them into part of the decor.
