A crafted wedding photography experience marked by a personalized touch and a joyful, directed approach.
I’ll get to know you and your love story–after all, my team and I will be there for some of the most significant moments of your life!
We’ll curate your family list, fine-tune the flow of the day (with your wedding planner if applicable) to make sure the day runs efficiently and flawlessly, and each important detail and unique moment is documented.
We'll work together to create a mood board to hone in on your style preferences and any wedding trends you'd like to capture at your wedding.
Here's what to expect
Your day will be met with a confident, calm and organized approach while capturing every moment that you’ll never want to forget.
We give direction to make posing for photos move quickly and feel natural and comfortable. We quickly set families and guests at ease, making the whole process efficient—and fun!
With Vanessa's Same Day Edit, you'll get ~50 photos before the night is over. A few weeks later, all of your photos are easily shareable through an online gallery with non-watermarked, easily downloadable images.
Our job isn’t done until your story is told and your memories are printed and preserved. Together we’ll create a custom wedding album, without the burden of designing it yourself.
Working with us–a full-service wedding photography service–ensures your photos are printed artistically and through professional printing services not available to consumers.
This means your prints look gorgeous, and ensures that you actually have them printed and ready to be shared as an enduring family legacy.
"Besides my husband, Vanessa was the best choice I made when it came to our big day."
"I look through my wedding album and truly feel as if I am reliving the best day of my life."
“We are so happy with how perfectly she captured us and how we felt.”
We try our best to blend in but not look like we’re attending a funeral. Mostly black and darker clothes like dress pants and a blouse or a dress are a staple along with cute, but comfy, shoes.
What do you wear?
Absolutely not. In fact, because of how efficiently I work on the day of and the help I give you in preparing your family picture list, most family photo sessions on a wedding day are complete within 10-15 minutes.
I don’t want to spend an hour taking family photos, do I have to?
This is one of the most important things you can ask photographers you’re interviewing so the answer is yes! You’ll want to make sure that I know how to take amazing photographs in any situation, of anyone and of anything. Wedding photographers need to work fast and be able to excel in all scenarios and I pride myself in being able to do just that. You can check out almost every wedding I’ve ever photographed on my portfolio.
Can we see pictures of a whole wedding day from start to finish?
You will! All of the photographers I work with and shoot for me have been working with me for many years. It takes years to train them to uphold the same quality of work that you expect and the type of friendliness and professionalism you’d want around with you the day of.
We love you, but will we love your other photographers?
We make every effort to work with you for any rescheduling needs and make it as seamless as possible. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we never charged any couple for the reschedule of their wedding or event and were able to accommodate everyone’s new dates with ease.
What if we have to reschedule our wedding?
Your images will be edited for true color and exposure consistency and print-ready upon delivery. Basic retouching is also complimentary, upon request, on printed items you purchase such as wall art and albums.
Do you edit your images?
I have one of the fastest turn-around times in the wedding industry with proofs ready in 3-4 weeks and the majority of my couples with their wedding album within 3-6 months. I’ve even been known to show a few sneak peak images the night of the wedding if I’m there personally. To know more about the album design process, click here.
When will we get our pictures?
I never count! I just shoot because I shoot digital and there’s no end to how much “film” I have. On average you’ll receive 100 images per hour of shooting. I do snap more than that but I do you the favor of taking out the outtakes like blinks, test shots, duplicates and the like. All the images are edited for color, exposure, sharpness and white balance.
How many pictures do you take?
Like every encounter you’ll have with us, we make it as convenient as possible. Booking is simply a matter of you saying “I do!” and we’ll send an electronic contract with the collection of your choice. It’s just a few clicks and we’ll be going steady!
How do we book you?
Every wedding day is unique and some have more locations than others so we don’t discriminate that or charge travel for it. If travel fees apply to your wedding, I will discuss it upfront and include it in your contract. You will never get travel charges unexpectedly. I have extensive experience traveling and photographing destination weddings all around the globe.
Do you charge for travel or multiple locations?
To make sure that you’ve snagged me for your wedding date I require a $3,000 retainer and electronically sign the wedding contract. Another $3,000 payment is due 6 months before the big day and the balance is due when the rest of your wedding vendor balances are due 14 days before the wedding. We are flexible with breaking up payments along the way and you'll have an online account to keep track of payments and balance.
What's your payment plan?
I'm proud to be one of the top wedding photographers in the country, giving the absolute best in photography and product quality. Packages start at $7,500, with an average initial investment of around $8,500 for an associate team and $16,000 for Vanessa personally.
How much do you charge?
Absolutely and we’ll be happy to provide your venue with a proof of coverage.
Do you have liability insurance?
Absolutely! Lighting ensures consistency in the style of photos you expect from us, as well as giving creativity to your images. Here are a few of my lighting toys: Profoto B10 x3, Profoto A1X, and various modifiers, gels, and reflectors.
Do you bring lighting?
I use the best Canon cameras and lenses that money can buy and always bring backup equipment. If you’re a fellow gear geek, here’s my list of toys: Canon R6 Mark II, Canon R5, Canon 70-200mm II f/2.8 L, Canon 135mm f/2 L, Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro, Canon 85mm f/1.4 L, Canon 50mm f/1.2 L, Canon 35mm f/1.4 L, Canon 24mm f/1.4 L, Canon RF 28-70 f/2, Canon RF 50mm, 85mm, 24-105
