Caitlin and Steve :: Married :: Westmount Country Club Wedding
I love when I hear my couples love stories prior to their wedding day. Caitlin and Steve met many moons ago back in high school – coincidentally because their last names both started with the same letter. Fast forward to this year and these two have finally tied the knot in their Westmount Country Club wedding. I could not have been more excited to document this day for them! Caitlin wore a stunning Romona Keveza wedding gown with a sweet heart top. Her bridesmaids stood by her side in a soft blue dress by Jenni Yoo. Steve and his men were dressed to the nines in classic black tuxedos from Biltmore Tuxedos.
After a beautiful mass at church and some photos at Lambert Castle, friends and family gathered at The Westmount Country club for dinner and dancing. The entertainment was NON stop all night thanks to Silver Pro Entertainment – what a great band!
Congratulations Caitlin and Steve, it was a JOY being a part of your day!

Steve and I met our freshmen year of high school. Both having “D” last names we often found ourselves sitting close to each other in most of our classes. At the age of 15 we never would have guested we were embarking on a journey that would last a lifetime. For the last 11 years we have grown up together, looking towards one another to make the best version of ourselves.
Steve and I met our freshmen year of high school. Both having “D” last names we often found ourselves sitting close to each other in most of our classes. At the age of 15 we never would have guessed we were embarking on a journey that would last a lifetime. For the last 11 years we have grown up together, looking towards one another to make the best version of ourselves.
Our official wedding planning journey was about 21 months. That’s a lot of time to be planning, “pinning”, and envisioning the whole day. While it was inevitable that there would be times when it was more stressful, overall we wanted to enjoy the process and enjoy being engaged. Along with our families we made memories of a lifetime that included cake tastings, dress shopping (girls only), invitation designing, and listening to band showcases.
When planning our wedding we knew we wanted it to be timeless and classic. We wanted the room to feel warm and welcoming while at the same time be romantic and soft.
Although it is so hard to choose just one memory I would say the best moment of the day was at the reception when Steve and I took a good look around the room and took in everything that was happening in our honor. The band was playing, our families and friends were dancing and laughing, the room looked gorgeous, all while Vanessa Joy was snapping pictures to help us capture these moments that we could later relive through her photos.
I would describe the feelings I had on my wedding day as overjoyed, excited and surprisingly relaxed! On this day I knew that I was starting a chapter in my life that I had dreamed of for 11 years. I was excited to share it with all my loved ones. I also knew that the amount of attention to detail that went into our entire wedding planning would allow things to run as smoothly as it possible could. At that point all I was thinking about was this new life I was stating together with Steve!
