Lauren and Steve’s Grove wedding was beautiful! I adored their choice of stationery by the Paperless post! Lauren was definitely inspired by florals and pops of color for her wedding. She chose a lovely shade of pink for her bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen all complimented the ladies with their gray tux suits. Lauren and Steve had a beautiful ceremony at Saint Mary’s Church and from there we headed over to The Grove for some photos! Lauren and Steve were all smiles and couldn’t get enough of eachother all day – it was such a joy photographing them and their bridal party! The evening was a hit thanks to Craig Scott Entertainment and everyone enjoyed themselves as they celebrated Lauren and Steve!
How did you two meet and fall in love?
We met sophomore year in college. Over the course of six years we grew up together learning how to love each other, and more importantly how to fall in love.
What was most important to you when planning your wedding?
The most important piece of planning our wedding was to be surrounded by the love and support of all of our closest family members and friends. We are both very family oriented people and care very much about the happiness of the people in our lives.
What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
The inspiration behind our wedding theme was romance. We started with a beautiful bouquet and worked at creating our day from there. The soft vintage color palette, personal additions to the decor, and timeless attire of the bridal party all worked cohesively to elevate the romance and love at the heart of our day.
What is your favorite memory from your wedding?
Coincidentally, both of our favorite memory from our wedding, was after saying our vows and we walked down the aisle, looked at each other in pure happiness and shared a moment sealed with a hug of knowing we both genuinely love one another and are officially husband and wife.
How will you describe the feeling you had on your wedding day to your children one day?
One day, when we are showing our children our wedding album I hope they see the love in our eyes and the elation in our smiles. Our heart’s were bursting with love for each other and excitement for our future together. I’m not sure about Steve but I now understand what they mean in fairytales when they say, “… and they lived happily ever after.”
