Oh my goodness! With Summer time coming to an end I must share this absolutely VIBRANT wedding with you all today! Genevieve and Patrick’s Stone House at Stirling Ridge wedding was unique and had tons of color. When I say tons – I mean a lot! It was fabulous! Genevieve wore a beautiful Matthew Christopher wedding gown paired with of course, Badgley Mischka designer shoes (one of my favorites!). Her bridesmaids all wore a deep shade of blue by designer, Amsale. The day could not have gone better with Genevieve’s vibrant visions embodying tropical fruits, tons of color and gold accents. Her details were amazing and the love that was felt among the reception room was grand.
Congratulations Genevieve and Patrick, it was an honor being a part of your wedding day!
How did you two meet and fall in love?
We met playing bingo at the Jersey Shore in the summer of 2012. A mutual friend casually introduced us and we quickly became good friends and eventually a couple.
What was most important to you when planning your wedding?
It was important that the wedding reflect our personalities. We chose to have a DJ and a buffet style dinner menu to allow the party to continue to flow from start to end. This way everyone can eat, dance, and enjoy at their leisure. We also love to eat! Knowing this, we offered an array of food options we knew everyone would enjoy.
What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We like to have fun and tend to be a bit less traditional. Summer is our favorite time of year so our theme (pineapple) and colors reflected the bright colors found in nature during the summer time, which was also when we met. Pineapple is also know as a “Welcome” symbol. To us, the pineapple signified “Welcome to our new family”.
What is your favorite memory from your wedding?
The last few songs of the night, everyone joined us on the dance floor and the DJ allowed us to select the final songs for an epic finale.
How will you describe the feeling you had on your wedding day to your children one day?
I would describe it as the best day ever! Never would we have imagined having such a blast with so many people that we love. So many different groups of people merged into one large party. The dancing never stopped which made it forever memorable.
