I am in love! Lauren and Sean’s Sayen Gardens photos were lovely and I couldn’t be happier to be working with them both. Lauren wore a beautiful blue lace dress and Sean complimented her with his light purple button-down with khaki pants. We walked around the gardens and got some great images of these two love birds cuddling up to each other. Never did we imagine visiting a place as lovely as this. The photos turned out perfect too. As we were here for quite a while, looking around this place even gave us a bit of inspiration when it came to updating our own garden at home. Seeing as we had this form of inspiration to work with, as well as shows like love your garden alan titchmarsh, we knew that as well as great engagement photos, we were also able to think about how we were going to use this as inspiration to improve our own garden, the one we’ve been working on for some time. Everything works out in the end. But anyway, I can’t wait for their wedding next year! EnJOY!
How did you two meet?
Sean and I first met in September of our freshmen year at Boston College. We
instantly felt connected to each other as we bonded over our Jersey roots. After
countless lunches shared and late nights at the library together, we became
inseparable. We started dating that April and have been together ever since!
What’s one thing you’re looking forward to in your life-after-marriage
together?
We are looking forward to waking up next to each other, knowing that we will be
spending the rest of our lives together. Sean and I have been together for so
many years, and have shared so many memories, that we cannot wait to
continue our journey together as husband and wife. We are so excited to make
our first house a home where we can start a family.
How did he pop the question?
Each fall, Sean and I try to make a weekend trip back to Boston to visit friends
and enjoy the beautiful city. Last October, Sean planned all of the details of our
trip, with a special purpose. On what turned out to be the most perfect of
mornings, we enjoyed brunch and went on a leisurely walk along the Charles
River. When he saw a secluded bench, he recommended that we sit and watch
the passing sailboats. After some time, I suggested that we walk across the
bridge to Cambridge. As I stood, Sean dropped to his knee and took out a ring
that he had been hiding safely in his jacket. He said the most beautiful things as
he asked me to be his wife. After an ecstatic yes, we quickly called our families to
share the good news. Later that night, we enjoyed dinner at a restaurant in the
North End, the same one where we had our first date. Sean had planned that
too!
If you could both relocate anywhere in the world – where would it be?
We visited Los Angeles together last year and we both fell in love with the
southern California lifestyle. We love warm weather, kale and pressed juice, so
what better place to live!
What do you both enjoy doing together with your free time?
Sean and I love traveling and learning how to navigate new cities. During a stay
in San Francisco, we explored the entire city by either foot or bus; we were so
proud of ourselves for never taking a taxi! We also enjoy trying out new
restaurants and going on runs together.
