Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding Photos
I just adore shooting Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding Photos! Sibley looked absolutely stunning for her big day wearing a Olia Zavozina gown. It was perfect weather which made her bridesmaids dark blue Alfred Sung dresses pop! Sibley and Tim chose to have their ceremony at Our Lady of Sorrows. Tim was anxiously awaiting for his beautiful bride to walk down the aisle and you can see the joy in Sibley’s face as she made her way to the alter. After their full mass ceremony, we headed to Pleasantdale Chateau where we got some great images with beautiful flowers and greenery from the grounds! The reception was a big hit considering how important the music was to Sibley and Tim; they chose to have NYC Swing be the entertainment for the night – they were great!
Congratulations Sibley and Tim! It was a JOY being a part of your big day!

How did you two meet and fall in love?
Tim and I met at a mutual friends surprise birthday party. We ended up across the table from each other and talked all night. After the party we both ended up texting our friend, Tim’s text said something along the lines of “did I mess it up… I think I did” and mine said “he is so cute!”. Ever since that night we have either spoken to or seen each other every day. Tim took the bus for the first time to where I was living for our first date and we talked for hours. He actually got lost on his way home and ended up hitching a ride to the light rail from a few police officers he saw! After many trips back and forth between the suburbs and Hoboken, Tim proposed on a walk along the Hudson river with a perfect NYC view.
What was most important to you when planning your wedding?
The most important thing when planning our wedding was that the overall feel reflected who we are. We also really wanted to make sure our guests had an amazing time so we focused on choosing a band that would keep our guests on their feet but not be obnoxious.
What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?
We didn’t go into the overall planning with a theme in mind. We ended up with a classic garden feel mainly due to the choice in venue and our preference in simple elegance. We had an Etsy artist paint fun, simple water color scenes that corresponded to our table names, used moss for our escort card table and stuck to white, champagne and antique colored flowers. It all came together very nicely!
What is your favorite memory from your wedding?
We have many memories that still bring a smile to our face, all for different reasons. Our favorite memory that we can share as a couple that neither one of us was expecting to be our favorite was as we were standing outside the closed doors of the reception. The band was playing our entrance song “walking on sunshine”, the band leader was in the middle of announcing us as husband and wife and we were hand in hand, ready to get the party started! When they opened up the doors we could feel all the love and excitement in the room, it was such a rush!
How will you describe the feeling you had on your wedding day to your children one day?
I think when we describe our feelings on our wedding day to our children we will use one word, loved. Of course we felt the love for each other. Tim and I enjoyed every moment we had together that day, it was a moment in time in which nothing else matter except each other. However, we also felt the love from all of our family and friends who were celebrating with us. Its was so amazing to have almost all the people in our lives in one room celebrating with us!
