Lisa + Josh are from San Francisco, so when we met in Napa Valley for the first time to do their engagement pictures, I just knew these two were one in the same! They just fit perfectly with each other and combo that with a loving mother-of-the-bride, Nancy, who tirelessly worked to plan their New Jersey wedding alongside Laura and Kara from My Bellisisma, and you’ve got nothing short of a perfect wedding.
I should take a moment here to define perfect wedding and applaud Lisa and Josh for having one. No wedding goes off without a hitch, either behind the scenes or noticed by the bride and groom. But what makes a perfect wedding, is what the bride and groom make and take away from their wedding day. Lisa and Josh’s wedding had a few mishaps (some that would ruin any bride’s day), but what I admired about them, and what I feel deserves recognition, was the way they looked at the big picture and kept on smiling. They knew that what mattered is that they got married, and everything else was just icing on the cake and nothing would stop them from having the best day of their lives together (so far!). And that, is a perfect wedding!
