I was extremely honored to photograph this actual proposal the second that AJ emailed me telling me their story. AJ and Rebecca have been together for some time, and they’ve discussed their wedding here and there, and Rebecca had told AJ that she loved my photography. So with this in mind, he not only arranged an incredibly romantic proposal, bringing in his own butterflies to the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association Butterfly Farm (butterflies remind Rebecca of her late mother), but asked me to be there to document it! I have been looking forward to this proposal for so long, that when the time came for me to wait for them to arrive, I was so nervous and excited!!! Haha, I even video taped myself waiting for them just to let out some of the excitement!
