It’s always a treat when Rob and I get to work in a venue that we haven’t been to before. It’s funny how often a hear brides getting advised to make sure their photographer has photographed at their locations before, but I almost feel like it’s better if they haven’t in ways because then their view is jaded by overfamiliarity with the place. Obviously knowing an area have it’s pros too, but I really feel my creativity jump when I get to experience a feast for the eyes that I haven’t before, and Vera and Rich’s wedding at Crest Hollow was just that!
Aside from the amazing location complete with a gorgeous onsite ceremony and an incredibly beautiful bride and groom, the reception itself was like something I had never seen before. There was simply food EVERYWHERE. Piled high on all of the tables even before the guests walked in giving everyone a Russian feast that I’ve never seen before. It seriously never ended and there were too many courses and various plates to count. And Vera and Richard were so sweet, they gave us a place a a guest table so we could enjoy every bit of it (not to mention it’s SUCH a good idea to do this so that we didn’t have to leave the room to go eat, which is the norm, and we didn’t miss a second of the non-stop party).
Thank you guys SO much for letting us be a part of your wedding!
EnJOY!
