One of the things I want to work on this year is taking pictures of more albums, both samples and actual customer albums that come into the studio. I thought a good way to start would be with what I have in my studio. So, here are a few albums that I have to show when I first meet with a couple. 🙂
This first one is my newest addition and I absolutely LOVE it! I call it the clutch book. It’s a 10×4 Finao album and just about the size of a clutch purse. It’s meant to be a great little album that you can carry with you in your bag instead of lugging around you heavy one (that’ll be safe at home instead).
11×11 Blue Metallic Pictobook with 3×7 acrylic cameo – I’m so fortunate to have this one featured on their website under their Metallic series. This is a flush mount album with a custom design. Below it are three more examples of album covers that I have in my studio, one from Pictobooks, and the other from The Album Outlet.
The next one comes from the Couture Book Line and this is their Himalayan Series which features photos printed on a canvas paper with ripped edges. Couture Book has a ton of different album covers all based on different countries with fabrics imported from those counties. What’s great about these is that you can fit 100 pages in them, much more than regular albums hold. To view their entire catalog click here: Couture Book Catalog.
The following two pictures are an example of my proof book that I offer instead of a massive pile of proofs (who needs that mess all over the floor?). It’s a photo hardcover book with 12, 9 or 6 images per page with the filenames listed right underneath the images to make it easy to select pictures for the wedding album.
And lastly I’d like to show off the brand new engagement session guest signing book. This hardcover photo book is made from the pictures taken during the engagement session and is then used at the wedding reception for guests to sign (in lieu of the typical white fluffy guest book with matching pen).
